We spend so much energy on trying to be perfect. The perfect friend. The perfect employee. The perfect spouse. And let's not forget the perfect mom. Because when you're not perfect as a mom, you'll ruin the future of you kids Simple as that.😂⁠

But what is perfect? And for whom? Perfection for me can be something different than perfection for you. And is this really the pressure we want to pass on to our children, to always have to be perfect? 🤷‍♀️⁠
⁠
Just be you. Be human and imperfect. Make mistakes. Show them how to deal with that. So they feel more at ease to come to you when they did something wrong. Because in the end that's what matters. That they know you're their anchor or safety net, where they can always fall back to. That no matter what they did, you wil still love them. 🥰
Negative self-talk is a deep rooted habit for many of us. I can think of many reasons why we do it, but the truth is, it's not helping anyone. Not yourself and for sure not the people around you.😢⁠

If we love ourselves completely and unconditionally, it's so much easier to receive and give love to others. To not feel offended by small remarks of others. And to see the true beauty in others.💝⁠

If we love ourselves completely and unconditionally it's so much easier to do the things that really matter us, instead of pleasing others. And those others will be in awe of you.👏⁠

I know, it's a hard nut to crack to change this habit, so please focus on it every day! Why not buy or pick some nice flowers for yourself today. A small gesture of self love. There's nothing that is more important than that. ❤️
I love what my client says here about learning about herself. I think it is one of the great merits of doing healing sessions, to help clients understand what the real issue is.💡⁠

We often keep thinking the same thoughts, and because of that feeling the same emotions and having the same doubts. All this thoughts, feelings and emotions can be repeating day after day after day.🤯⁠

Until we decide to do something about it. When I go to a coach or a healer, I always feel so much lighter after. It helps me to disentangle the pile of thoughts and negative emotions. 💭⁠

How are you? But really, how are you feeling? In the middle of a tight schedule, so much to do before the weekend starts? Quickly scrolling through you socials for some welcome distraction?🤯⁠

In for a real break? Then take a serious deep breath. And another. And another. When you're done reading this, put the phone away for 3 minutes and stay focused on your breath. Put your hands on your belly, close your eyes and just feel whatever there is in your body.⁠

OK, now you're ready to finish whatever is on your to do list before the weekend begins. Have a lovely weekend.☀️🌈

It is therefore not surprising that we can become overwhelmed during the day. Fortunately, you can easily help yourself to become less overwhelmed. Make as many decisions ahead as possible.💡⁠

Plan on Sunday what you want to eat that week and when you do the shopping. Think about what you, and your children, want to wear the night before. A few simple examples. But make no mistake, they can save you a lot of energy.💚⁠

Think of a good moment during your week, that you sit down and just plan simple things like this ahead. Grocery lists, gym classes you want to take, household chores like laundry, vacuum cleaning, me-time.✍️⁠

The more you think ahead, the less decisions you have to make through your stressful day. And the more energy you save to enjoy the little things.💖⁠
